Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management
Improve the frameworks, techniques, and tooling to provide increased quality and agility for our Development teams
Multiple platforms, security, operating system administration
Manage life cycle management the private/public cloud / containers and VMs server/infrastructure and related platforms such as VMware, GCP, AWS.
Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
Handle code deployments in all environments
Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
Familiarity with virtualisation, cloud platforms, docker management platform, especially VMware (vCenter, vSphere), Kubernetes
Deep hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale
Must have experience in Linux operating system administration, Shell scripting
Collaborate with other engineers in order to troubleshoot various environments
Assist with the design, implementation and administration of shared development, monitoring, CI/CD, DevOps, and collaboration tools
At least 1-2 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role
At least 1-3 years of experience in a scripting language (such as Powershell, Bash, or Python)
Experience with modern languages development practices and frameworks (such as JavaScript/.Net/Java)
Ability to design, architect, and implement complete CI/CD pipelines on AWS
Experience in containerising and orchestrating Docker (preferably with Kubernetes, ECS, or equivalent)
Experience with writing Infrastructure as Code using frameworks such as Terraform, Cloudformation, or other configuration based tools for AWS
Effectively communicate with others through documentation, remote working sessions, and face-to-face interactions
Identify opportunities to reduce time to delivery, rework and total cost of ownership while improving the functional and non-functional requirements of our system
Experience in working with Cloud Environment (AWS)
Previous experience building highly scalable SaaS or PaaS solutions in an AWS production environment
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Linux environments
Has deployed a variety of open-source software systems such as NGINX, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Vault etc
Worked in an agile environment and understands agile practices
Experience in agile based tooling such as Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence), Trello, etc.
AWS Solutions Architect / AWS DevOps Certification is a major plus
Experience working in a heavily regulated industry or environment
